"I am an avid bike collector and I initially met Chris several years ago during my patronage of a high-end bike shop located in Los Angeles, CA. Chris took it upon himself to ensure that my expectations were met and exceeded each time – no easy feat for even a seasoned professional. Throughout our working relationship, I’ve come to trust Chris with all of my cycling projects and needs. He built my Moltini Merckx, Merckx 25th anniversary, Alberto Masi, Cervelo Super Prodigy and is building my 50th anniversary Paramount with a Campagnolo 50th anniversary group. He keeps all of my bikes tuned which include two BMC Team issues, two Moots, a Pegoretti and two Colnago Master X-Lite bikes. Chris is a master mechanic, to be sure, but he has very good design sense and is very knowledgeable about cycling history. Together, this makes working with Chris a truly enjoyable experience because the quality of our projects is far greater than a properly assembled and tuned bicycle. Each and every bike Chris touches for me displays all of his design and mechanical talents. I am very fortunate to know Chris and benefit from his tremendous talent and customer-centric service."

"The first time I rode the Galen I was hooked. I have never said that about another bike. I have had lots of bikes over the past 12 years that I liked very much, but none as well rounded as this one. I rode my last one for 2 years - a light stiff aluminum frame that did a good job of beating me up on long rides. I knew it was time for a switch but I didn't want to give up speed for comfort. Working in the industry has given me ample opportunity to sample many frames but none really stuck out till now. The Galen is extremely comfortable on long rides but gives up nothing when it comes to speed or performance. It's very stiff but it's not jittery. It tracks well under hard pedaling efforts. It climbs incredibly well and is by far the best cornering bike I have ever ridden. Descending on it is too fun if that's possible. The only thing it doesn't do is pedal itself. But then if it did...what fun would that be. Chris, thank you for building a bike that put the fun back into training!"

"I was fortunate to test ride a Galen Bicycle for a period of two months. I wasn't sure what to expect since I already owned a carbon bicycle and couldn't imagine a better ride. After just one ride, I found myself completely impressed with the Galen. The first thing I noticed was that the bike really absorbed the bumps on the road. I was riding over bumps and barely feeling them. The second thing I noticed was the speed the bike flew down hills and around corners. I knew I was going much faster on the Galen than I ever had on my other carbon bike. The bike handled easily and smoothly around corners. I was having a blast! The oversized tubing creates a stiff but very comfortable and durable ride. Climbing? I will not buy a bike unless I climb with it first and the Galen Bicycle climbs with ease and is very responsive. Without even trying, I found myself passing others in the group. I do quite a bit of racing and would not think twice about racing this bicycle at the professional level. In addition to the excellent performance of this bicycle, what caught my attention are the paint jobs. You can have the Galen painted any way you like. The one I test rode was a beautiful New Orleans color scheme. In short, the Galen is like riding a piece of art. I truly enjoyed riding the Galen bicycle and highly recommend this bicycle to any kind or size of rider. You'll love it just like I did."
